Journey vs. Destination

Our culture has taught us that successful arrival at the destination is the objective. Our spiritual journey applies a different metric.  It is on the journey where we learn, grow, refine, and collaborate with God. We find His favor and delight in our best of times and His redemptive perspective in our trials, but He is imminently available for the journey if we have the courage to ask.

Are you invigorated by the prospect of the life He intends you to live or are you already settling for the life you've always known?  Walter Mitty monetized a few simple decisions into a life far beyond his greatest expectations.  How about you?
